The Crying Film

This was a short film analysing the transference of perceived emotion between two people. It was made as a tool in exploring the exchange between artist and audience in a performance setting, and as an experiment with acting methods set out by Stanislavsky.

It was pre-determined that the performers would be of a certain sex and age in order to raise questions in the viewer around the nature of their relationship and circumstance.

Also, the performers had not met previous to the film being made.

The film is available to view on request.
